COIL WINDER ESP32 GRBL

This project was created on 02/03/2021 and last updated 4 years ago.

Description

The coil winder software is based on the Grbl Grbl_ESP32 firmware and coilwinder.py script to create .gcode files.Changes from the original Grbl firmware:- coilwinder.h machine configuration with settings for two stepper motors.- report.cpp changed to support a (somewhat clunky) driver for an SSD1306 OLED display. The display is used to show the current CNC statusThe coilgen folder contains a Python script to generate .gcode from a coil's parameters. The gcode file includes a comment with the coil's turn and layer counts, which is displayed on the OLED display.
