I used Eagle to design and route the PCB board. Connections are random and do not follow any circuital logic, it is only for aesthetic purposes. However, the placement of components is of paramount importance as it has to "LOOK GOOD"... One may use the align and distribute tool of Eagle
And finally, most components except the ICs are TH, which makes them very easy to solder. Even, for the ICs one can short the pins... It just has to stick there
The clock mechanism was imported to have large shaft clearance in order to prevent the hands from hitting any other component
