The onboard resistor on this module will limit the circulation of current while the circuit is open and current is flowing, preventing the sensor from burning or being damaged in any way.

This sensor is an excellent choice for projects that require the detection of object orientation or inclination.

Tilt Switch Module Working Principle

This sensor's operation is fairly straightforward. The metal ball within the sensor rolls down and makes contact with a metal pin that is put in one end of the sensor when it is tilted at a certain degree. This connection will cause current to flow in the circuit.

The metal ball will roll away from the metal pin if the sensor is returned to its original position, breaking the circuit and interrupting current flow.
