[P] Octopus Pro

A project log for SecSavr Sublime [gd0036]

An FDM 3D printer that I described as "The FULL Coverage, Extended X, Pro Max, Ultramatrix Solution".

Ahh yeus the Octopus Pro has finally arrived. Coming with 8 stepper drivers that can all be used to 48V and costing £36 + VAT (on the cheaper end of boards with 8 drivers), it's the best option for what I need to do. I'm no professional but I do need another 3 for my dual core SecSavr setup.

You need 11 stepper drivers, or am I mis-reading? What are they all for?

I've just written a project log to explain:

I've replied to the actual motor bit on that log. I just wanted to say that I would love if you paid attention to any complaints you have about using this board in a multi-mcu way, as that's one of the pain points I'm hoping to address. Especially complaints when it comes to wiring, though I'll take any sort of complaints.
