An active DC power load with two modes of operation - constant power and constant current. Made as part of bachelor thesis in 2017 entirely from scratch with no support from anyone (other than a friend helping me with making the metal case). Includes a UI module and several power modules. Uses entirely analog feedback for CC mode and mixed A/D feedback for CP mode. The specimen made allowed about 300 W of permanent power dissipation. Power modules are isolated from each other and from the UI module.
The UI module employs a STM32F103, keyboard and several 7-digit displays. The power modules employ STM32F030 and a lot of analog circuitry. The software somewhat works but requires improvements to make it reliable and fully expandable to many more power modules. HW&SW protections are in place to prevent damage to the power supply.
Completely open source, bachelor thesis and presentation included, though only in Czech. Made to be reproducible at home using photolithographic process
