- Soldered all of the LM324 quad amp IC's
- Side that is more beveled is where pin 1 is
- Incorrectly oriented the first one, bought a heat gun to de-solder and re-orient it
- Bought isopropyl alcohol pcb cleaner to clean flux and solder residue
- Organized bags containing surface mount parts by number of the first component
- Attached Audio Jack:
- Verified signal and ground connected properly
- Melted third port, doesn't connect to a net so that is not a big deal
- Soldered C5 & C6, C17 & C18, C11 & C12
- Soldered 0.1uF
- C51, C62:C73 were soldered
- Lost 2 of the caps when I opened the container... Will need to buy replacements for C60 & C61
- Soldered current limiting resistors of LED display - R75:R81
- ***I have two 'pointed' solder tips, 1st one is rubbish, 2nd one seems to be working well
- Soldered C43 & C44
- ****'Pointed' tip seems to be best for size 0603_1608 and bellow, had trouble with 1206_3210
