Greetings. Is there a method to make this device display images in grayscale instead of colour? Many ZX Spectrum users preferred monochrome monitors and still do.

Also separate USB jack is not necessary since the whole unit can be powered through existing USB jack on RP2040 board.

Hi, I think it is possible to run in monochrome, if somebody implement this in to emulator, I am not skilled programmer.

Onboard USB-C is optional, design of motherboard is about year old, some parts are still on place, gluing new parts, some old still remaining, there is no reason to make free space on PCB... now is board more optimized for waveshare pico where is USB-C and battery charging.

Next week I receive new updated bards and front panel.

Using https://github.com/Jean-MarcHarvengt/MCUME this emulator project support all good retro machines .... c64, atari800, ZX and some consoles.

This display resolution is best ZX Spectrum, other emulator also works but pictures is cut.

For other retro machines is better project with bigger display like:
