I'm very happy to announce that the Open Gamma Detector has been successfully and officially certified as open source hardware with the open source hardware association (OSHWA). You can click on the image below to get to the certification page:
This was something I wanted to do so for quite some time now and I wish more people would use this great service. It brings together all the great aspects of open hardware and standardizes the whole "level of openness" so to say.
In addition to that, today I finally set up the Tindie store for the Open Gamma Detector. If you do not, for any reason, want to buy from the Makerfabs store, you can purchase a board there with all the other benefits Tindie offers you. These orders will be shipped by my partner Makerfabs, but you only have to order like you normally would through Tindie without creating any additional accounts :)
That's all for now, I'm currently working on a new revision of the detector board and hopefully I will still have some time left to work on some long-planned changes on Gamma MCA. Keep you updated, cheers! :)
