I wanted to create something useful from the ATtiny424 (new 2 - series). So I decided on a Binary Kitchen timer.
Even though the the new Series in ATtiny's internal 32768hz low power clock is not exactly accurate, I figured its close enough for a kitchen timer. This is now working, but still a work in progress. The version I have in the kitchen has performed without any flaws now for a couple of weeks. It sleeps after a few minutes if not used. When you hit Cancel button it also goes to sleep. Setting is easy. Just press and hold set button. It goes up to 15 min. (mainly because anything I cook the longest I go is 15 minutes till I at least check on it). It remembers what you last set it as. It will pause as well, but if paused to long it will go back to sleep.
