I just wanted to let everyone know that the great tits have started building their nest again. Instead of showing the usual dashboard image I though I could give a graph showing the birdhouse usage over the years. You can see that in 2023 there was a second brood. The duration for the second brood was much shorter compared to the first because the birds where simply reusing the already existing nest (didn't have to build their own). I have learned on Wikipedia that the great tit only does a second brood if there is enough caterpillar prey available.
