Description

This mod changes the main LCD panel controller signals to switch automatically between PAL and NTSC timings based on the input frequency.

Beware:
It should work for both NTSC and PAL LCDs but my model was PAL, so different modifications may be needed for NTSC.
It does not change the color carrier in any way, so this works only for RGB video, not composite (it works, but the image is B/W in the non-native standard).

Remove the speaker covers and remove screws

Remove the speaker covers (they are just glued) and the top rubber caps and then remove the underneath screws.

Open the round case

Open the round case with a credit card, your nails or just something soft to avoid damaging the case

Remove the PCB screws

Remove the screws, but don't remove the PCB from where it's sitting, we just need to lift it a little bit from the left to put our PCB bellow.
