The Aethyr 313 Cyberdeck

Description

The Aethyr 313 Cyberdeck is named for the area code of the dystopia that created it. This is technically the fifth cyberdeck I have created and it is definitely the illest! It is running a Raspberry Pi 4B 2gb, it has a 5 inch and a 7 inch touchscreen, a custom Corne split mechanical keyboard with old school typewriter style key caps, MX brown switches, and RGB under glow. It is powered using a 12 volt USB hub, a 5 volt to 12 volt upstep cable, and a cell phone power brick (although the pictures were taken before the upstep cable arrived so the USB hub was plugged into external power in them). The frame is 10mm x 10mm Maker Beam aluminum extrusion.

Some people have asked how you use it physically. Like how you sit there and use it. Since I am not the most eloquent, here is a picture of how you would use it.

Well, it turns out that the 5v power brick along with the 12v upstep cable wasn't providing enough power so I swapped them out for a 12v rechargeable battery pack.
I am also uploading some teardown photos so that functionality and assembly are demystified.
