So that the helmet is easier on the eyes, I've swapped out sharp corners for smooth fillets. I'm also trying different textures again.

I think it actually looks quite relaxing and comfortable with this walnut skin, thus the aesthetic geometry of the helmet is good enough for me. (If the helmet didn't look good no matter what texture I slapped on, I'd have to go back to the drawing board.) This helmet does make me think of a hood dryer, which is probably a decent initial thought for someone to have.
