In 2022, I mentored during the engineering class at Sammamish High School, Bellevue, WA.
With the student, we made a PineTree Light from addressable LED and recycled acrylic.

I tinkered with other design, like the PineTree Forest and the Flower Light.

    For a new project I wanted to perform Light Ray Simulation to check for light propagation, reflection, refraction, diffusion.

    I used ricktu288/ray-optics and exported the flower path from Soldworks. I need to find a way to convert spline to arc and lines.

    The simulation match what can be noticed on the flower light.

So creative and so ingenious! I'm also studying engineering and the thing that got me into it is the incredible stuff an engineer does.
