Really liked the Pinecil soldering station that I started with for this project. The roller bearing iron holder is a brilliant idea.
I wanted a soldering station that could hold everything I needed to solder. I couldn't' find such a config so I made one. This includes the USB-C power converter, flux, wire cutters, solder wick, tweezers, file, etc.
The power converter is too thick to fit into one half so there's space in both halves for that piece.
I also liked the idea of some work holding solution. After a few tries, I settled on the flexible plastic lines used for coolant. I made space for two, one in each side of case and drilled out the ends to fit some alligator clips.
Originally, I mounted the flex lines onto the case with magnets. However, the magnet mounting wasn't strong enough to I changed to threaded mounts which work well. I hold the flex lines in the cases with magnets glued to the ends.
I re-mixed the small solder spool to be a single piece and print both that part and the solder wick holder with supports.
The part I started with is here: Pinecil, TS100, TS101, TS80 & TS80p Case with options, Stand, Solder Reel, Storage Box by Termiman - Thingiverse
