I hope this will be finished one day... I've spent the last couple of YEARS designing and re-designing the control system (but, by now, I rlike to think I'm expert on AVR IO expansion options)
ARM microcontroller "analogue" synthesizer using a custom AVR circuit for a "proper synth" UI (no/very minimal menus)
I've made what might be considered some very odd design decisions and constraints for this project.
The control system is built on veroboard and programmed entirely in AVR Assembly language.
The main synth itself will be programmed entirely using Free Pascal and will be a "bare-metal" ARM system.
The case looks like something I could of built when I was 10, after watching an episode of cheap 1980s British science fiction.
The only valid justification I can offer for this is simply that I like it that way.
