Have you ever think about how would it look like, if somebody design an analog bench meter with the todays technology?
There is no limits with the integrated electronics capabilities, even it can be MCU controlled, packed with the features what we see today natural on a digital multimeter.
If you try to buy some old decent bench analog meter on the eBay, the prices are insane, but the specifications are far from the digital counterparts.
I try to jump on to this vagon.
The planned features:
- DC Voltage and Current
- AC Voltage and Current
- True RMS with substantial bandwidth (1MHz minimum)
- FET input (actually OpAmp) with 100Mohm input impedance
- 100uV to 1000V ranges
- Automatic range switching
- Automatic polarity handling
- Mirror scale with backlight
- 2.4" secondary OLED display for the range data
