(because I haven't noticed this elsewhere in Hackadaydom yet)

Made it to another MRRF -- er -- a month ago by now. The last MRRF. with the good folk of MakerHive commissioned to fill its place with a new thing under a new name.

From the organizers' 14 June (2026) fb post after closing the show:

[...] Sonny and I are in awe every year at how many and how far come to attend this festival. 

As we say goodbye this afternoon, we ask that everyone support the new festival next year.  I know they will do their best to keep the spirit of MRRF alive, while building onto it with their own ideas and communities.  Please make sure to follow The MakerHive as they take on the torch and continue the festival with a new name and their amazing members organizing the evolution of MRRF.
