We would love to show you all our brand new project, nicknamed Gistinho, or Gistein (whichever you prefer).
The makeup of this spooky fellow consists of a few components that were found around our laboratory.A few different frameworks are integrated into our system, like Arduino and NodeMCU.
Gistinho can play songs and scary sounds (ahh). You can control him from a web page, where temperature and humidity values can also be seen. These sensors are located elsewhere, and communication is performed through MQTT using the NodeMCU framework.
For communication to the main Arduino, which is, effectively, Gistein’s brain, we use I²C. A few different commands can be sent, such as playing the next song.
This is Gistinho. We hope you enjoyed! Happy Halloween!
