My attempt at creating a portable terminal/computer that I may use for my school work and light gaming.

First to note is I havn't a great idea yet for what the final name of this currently hypothetical computer. I frequently use my own name jammed in front of other words to detail my projects to my instagram audience, that gets great amusement out of such things.

The goal of this project is to create a portable computer that I don't hate using. I hate laptops for a plethora of reasons, so I aim to solve these problems with this project. I want a decent way to take electronic notes and light coding, as well as any digital school work that may arise in my college years. (also to play games when I'm bored lol)

Requirements: Mechanical keyboard, Wifi connectivity, acceptable cooling capabilities, decent performance, acceptable display (preferably a shorter ultra wide), and acceptable portability.

Limitations: I'm broke (kind of), can't be gigantic (current measurements have its base at 360mm x 230mm), preferably doesn't look like a bomb of any kind, battery life becomes a concern when considering higher end components, practicality is debatable, will need to acquire 3d printer, more to come likely.

As you can see in the gallery, I have one humble photo of my initial design for this computer. I have taken obvious inspiration from TechNIK's cyberdeck (found in the link section), as well as Carter Hurd's gaming cyberdeck build. I started off the design process with taking some measurements of my current 60 percent keyboard, and starting to lay out some shapes in the humble tinker cad. I initially thought tinkercad would be all I'd need to use to design this, but I have realized that it would take 300 years to do everything I want in tinkercad, so I'm going to have to learn some more complex software. Currently tinkercad words for getting the idea out of my head and into some kind of visual format, which is good. I have done my best to keep things to scale, however I'm going to need specific components to be able to make sure everything is proper.
