Pepper's All-Access Arcade

All images above are pieces made by the controller team. What you can see are the Load Cell Controller, which is complete, Controller Panel, and the Encoder Wheel, used for menu selection. Earlier today (1/5/2024) Liam Frost, Controller team lead, 3D printed the Load Cell Controller.

We have created a nearly complete CAD model of the cabinet body, with the different physical parts separated in order to understand how they will all fit together. We also have the location of the power supply and blank locations for the controller panels.

We have also designed multiple brackets to attack the wooden panels of the cabinet.

We plan to finalize the CAD design, including bracket locations, as well as adding a way to access the back of the cabinet. We will also finish the art before finally constructing the cabinet itself.

We have currently designed the box, and know where to place the latches and brackets

Our design features 2 compartments, the top compartment will hold the arcade machine and will be removed from the bottom section after removing 2-3 clips. The bottom section will be to hold loose parts such as cords, and a load cell. Right new we have designed the actual box along with each piece that will make it up. We are going to laser cut each piece of the box using a laser cutter so we also have multiple layouts of the in 2d.
