Loved this!

I am a drummer myself and always wanted to build my own too.

The jigs to route the tom was nice!

I can't take credit for any creativity on the jigs... there are a few designs on teh interwebz, but this one is IMHO the simplest and easiest to make, and is demonstrated by Murray Fraser of Murray Drums in Scotland.  (I don't know if he invented it or not, but his videos show it the best).
