If you look down at components, there are two ways you can go with this bypass:

  1. Azores/ECIN Route (Intel/Maxlinear chipset)
    1. Easier to configure and troubleshoot
    2. Supports most ISPs
    3. We have a custom firmware!
    4. UART exposed on SFP Pins
  2. FS.COM Route (Cortina chipset)
    1. You could probably get this easily
    2. Harder to configure, requires overlay patching and failsafes
    3. No real way to fix a brick, since there is no exposed UART
