Use some pliers to pry open the tabs acting as a strain relief on the cable jacket

Remove the metal casing

Note the pin-out (Counter clockwise in this case: black, white, green blue, red)

Cut the wires

Slide on the metal casing BEFORE soldering on the new pins

Solder the wires to the appropriate pins

Use pliers to squeeze the metal tabs onto the cable jacket

Place the metal tab into the corresponding cutout on the black plastic

Line up the metal casing and pull it over the pins

Thread in the screw and you're done
