I had built one of the OG PCBs that Elliot handed me and I think the biggest issue I had with was that the output wasn't buffered iirc. so when connecting it with other stuff it got hot in places. 

I love the color silkscreen, definitely the right PCB for it!

I never tried it, but I guess a tl072 like Sam used here would make sense https://www.lookmumnocomputer.com/cem-3340-diy-simple
