We developed an innovative device to assist individuals with hand disabilities in cycling, inspired by Diego, who has a partial hand. Our project focused on understanding Diego's needs, designing a secure and ergonomic handlebar grip using Fusion 360, and creating two 3D-printed prototypes. The first prototype, though robust, had balance issues, while the second featured an adjustable clamp, contoured grip, and counterbalance for improved stability and comfort. Despite challenges in design, material selection, and iterative testing, our collaborative efforts with Diego led to a promising solution adaptable for others with similar conditions.

We've added a support for better stability and control since the initial project couldn't ensure safe braking.
