a 5 minute adventure to impruin your first FPV kit

So, I lied, it's gonna be 10 minute adventure instead of 5.

I've got a handful of RCA female sockets for other projects and that means that I can cram them into this mod to make it a little bit more permanent.

And so now it looks like this

These goggles have this second opening symmetrical to antenna and that's what where I will mount the socket. This opening is also plugged with little rubber thing, and that is what will hold the socket in place:

Because of tight space, using the rest of the furniture is probably not an option and so ground connection will be soldered directly, with the help of a bit of scraping the metal for ease of soldering:
Remove the screw terminal which was mounted previously to make build a bit tidier and swap it with 2.54XH connector to be able to disconnect the socket in case if you need to remove mirror assembly. Connections are same as for terminal block:
Route wires from the socket to the front panel and after crimping the connector, it's fairly straightforward:
Last time I forgot to add the front panel of the goggles, so to fix that and to accomodate the signal switch, I need to perform some more surgery:
Fill the rubber holder and the switch legs with some epoxy for sturdiness (totally optional - it's just RCA connectors are tight and i've seen how switch was bent because of me carrying this sytem in my backpack), put it all together and boom - it won't fall apart as easy as before.
