We are two Frenchmen currently working on a project that aims to design, build, and sell fully repairable home appliances that could last 50 years, thereby reducing waste associated with home appliances.
We have decided to start with washing machines and have already built a few prototypes. We plan to test these prototypes on various technical and commercial aspects throughout the summer.
We want our project to have as much impact as possible, which means creating a design that is highly efficient. Recognizing the power of collective knowledge, we believe the open-source hardware community could greatly assist us in improving our design and, consequently, our impact.
We are looking for the help of the OSHW community to do so but we do not really know how all this works.
What do you need from us?
