I'll get the bad news out of the way. The last remaining member of the Chug's group and the Debby's bounty (our first class this season) is apparently dying. I've tried giving the fella some new pond water, but it doesn't seem to have had much of an effect. Sad to say the fella will likely pass away by tomorrow morning.
In more pleasant news, graduation time is likely around two days away for all of the Spadefoots in the "Pond" group. Some of them have started to come out of the water and get on Pinecone rock. This appears to be overall the healthiest group of Spadefoots overall that I've had as indicated by their plump bodies as opposed to slender bodies.
In related news, some of the early class members are starting to develop their rear legs. Again, I find it interesting how the late class additions have developed so fast compared to the class members that were rescued as newborns. The late additions can't be much older than the others.
While the grey fur resident didn't come to the porch today, she did show up in the back yard and went in a planter (she likes to go in planters and pots for some reason.)
