As the pond has almost dried up, I made a last ditch effort to try to save a few more today. I managed to collect a handful of tadpoles. Interestingly enough, all of them appear to be Narrowmouths. Now I know the pond hasn't been around long enough for Spadefoots to self-graduate, so it appears that the Narrowmouth tadpoles are more robust in terms of dealing with "icky" water. There's been a lot of algae and other microbe growth in the pond along with a ton of mosquito larvae. I think I have around 30 tadpoles now.
The Chugs' Narrowmouth (shown in first photo below) still seems to be doing ok (the sole remaining member of our first class that hasn't graduated or passed away) as well and our second class. The grey fur resident also paid a visit today.
The Spadefoots have quickly learned to search the surface of water for food (where it initially sits when I feed them.)
