Of course, just about all of the Spadefoots in the "Pond" group has decided to enter the froglet stage today. Been busy transferring them from the pond to a container for them to surface. It mostly went well, but there was a sad in the process. On the rock that I placed in there for them to surface, one of them managed to get pinned between the rock and wall and pass away. I've normally put it in the corner to make it easier for them to get on to (allow the use of the container walls to help get on it) I've always worried about that happening, but up until now it's never happened. I've moved the rock to the center of the container. The fella was laid to rest today.
It's a bit on the crowded side with 12 tadpoles in the container.
In more joyful news, the grey fur resident appeared several times and had a few meals.
