Raising Tadpoles 2024 edition, third season

First to get the sad news out of the way. The final member of the "Pond" group is dying.  Sad to say, it looks like no Narrowmouth graduates.

In more pleasant news, the final two members of "The Originals" group have graduated today. The group had a 100% graduation rate!  One of the two I named "Freedom Seeker." I almost lost the fella, but thanks to some creative thinking he made it to graduation. I'll do another post about the fella.  As you can expect, I had to distract the grey fur resident during graduation.

In other news, a member of the "Looks like the Originals" group has entered the froglet stage. We may have a graduation session on Halloween.

Things were a bit calm today compared to yesterday.  The current three froglets will likely graduate either tomorrow or Friday.  Below are photos/video of the remaining two "Originals" group froglets.  

More of the froglets were getting up on the rocks. The weather conditions were good. Today made for a great Graduation Day.  Four in total graduated today. Three from the "Originals" group and one from "The Three Amigos" group.  They didn't seem in a particular rush to hop off for the most part with two of them being on/around Pinecone rock.  The grey fur resident had to be kept distracted throughout graduation.  It was overall a joyful day, but I'm a little sad to see them go.

First the sad news: the "Pond" group is just about gone with only one surviving member left.  Was hoping to get at least one graduate out of the group, but that appears to be unlikely with the cold spell that killed most of them off.

We have now 7 froglets in total with now all of the "Originals" group now in the froglet stage.  I"m also happy to report that I've seen "The Three Amigos" froglet get on his rock and one of the "Originals" froglets has also done the same. There may be another Graduation Day session tomorrow or Wednesday.

I noticed that another member of the "Originals" group has entered the froglet stage, I'll get photos/videos of it tomorrow.  Looks like were' going to have another graduation session this week. I pray we don't have any more sudden froglet death syndrome fatalities.  Happy Lord's Day.

I wanted to upload a photo of the "Three's a Crowd" froglet, but once again getting "unknown error."

For some strange reason, the site won't let me upload photos today.  Anyways we're up to now 5 froglets. The remaining member of "Three's a Crowd" group has entered the froglet stage.  The other froglets seem to be doing just fine.  Sorry for the late posting.

I'll go ahead and get the sad out of the way. The froglet from the "Three's a Crowd" group sadly passed away today, another victim of sudden froglet death syndrome.  

On a more positive note, the froglet from "The Three Amigos" group graduated today.  He was placed on the plastic owl and shortly hopped into the leaves.

Today I found there's four new froglets in total. Three are from "The Originals" group (first photo below) and one is from "The Three Amigos" group (second photo below.)

I'll get the bad news out of the way.  Many of the Narrowmouths did not survive the chilly night with only a few survivors out of the group.  A major sad day for the "Pond" group.I  caught the few remaining ones I could find and put them in the vase and brought them inside for tonight.  Glad I brought the other groups inside for these past chilly nights.

In more happy news, we have two more froglets, one in "The Originals" group and another from "The Three Amigos" group.  Will have photos/vids of them tomorrow.  It's looking like tomorrow will be a graduation day for the other two froglets.

More of the Spadefoot class members are getting close to entering the froglet stage.  Due to cold nightly temperatures, everyone except members of the "Pond" group is spending the night indoors yet again.  Did have another sad today with a Narrowmouth in the "Pond" group. 

Class members seem to be doing well today.  When I was doing a video clip of the "Three's a Crowd" group I noticed one of them has entered the froglet stage.  That was a fun surprise. The fella was transferred to another container. I've brought everyone in except for the "Pond" group tonight as it's supposed to get a bit cold.
