I was looking over the design of the project and came across a potential issue. The current plan uses gears and a hand crank to rotate the inner sift. However, I’m concerned that sand or debris might get caught in the gears, causing them to jam or become damaged. I also worry about the effects that it could have on the efficiency of the product if left unresolved.

I hope to find a solution as I can't move forward with prototyping until the design is resolved.
