Lazy Sunday is a good day for a quick hack. We use both a Chromecast and a RPi for our bedroom TV. I couldn't bring myself to use 3 powerpoint (2 power packs + the TV cable) so I hacked in 2 x 5v USB lines straight from the TV. Result = 1 TV power cord to rule them all and turning the TV off turns them all off!
