Task Completed and Tasks In-Progress
As the semester picks up and we rapidly approach our Demo Day in March, we’d like to address the team’s accomplishments and big-ticket to-do's
Completed:
- Purchasing and Receiving
- Component Manufacturing
- Wheel Module Prototype v1 (See Figures 1-3)
In Progress:
- Design Modifications
- EverySwerve Bot
- Software
Over the next few weeks, the team plans to complete all design modifications and construction of the four wheel modules. This will allow us to focus on single module validation and software design simultaneously.



Foreseen Delays
With the upcoming completion of the EverySwerve Bot, software will become a much more pressing issue. Because our hub motors are upgraded in-house and are likely to vary in performance, we foresee needing to program PID control to equivalize them in addition to writing the swerve drive code itself.
