Would you like to see Flappy Larus in action before you download it? Well here's your chance - I've released the project video and I managed to hack it into outputting sound effects without writing a single line of code.

  • Flappy Larus now bundled with the 65uino!

I'm happy to announce Flappy Larus has now gone Open Source and is bundled with the 65uino firmware so load up the new firmware and give it a go!

A platform with a massive 128 bytes of RAM turned out to be way more than sufficient to meet the demands of Flappy Larus.

The game does require a whopping 0x1E4 bytes on a cartridge - or ROM for the DIY people out there.

P.S. Score counter is in hex digits.

Download the newest firmware for the 65uino

..and throw it on a ROM

  • 2
    jsr flappylarus

A "jsr flappylarus" instruction from "userland" will run Flappy Larus. Alternatively you can call it straight from "main" (in ROM)

  • 3
    Sound (optional)

Connect a passive buzzer module to GND+5V and the I/O line to SDA for sound effects almost good enough to think they're intentional.
