Design workflow

First, I created a sketch in Fusion360 with Christmas tree shape. After that I 3D printed it multiple times in different sizes to see which one is the best.

Next, I saved the sketch and imported it to Altium Designer where I created board shape out of it.

The rest was pretty easy - creating schematics, choosing components, doing layout and ordering assembled PCBs from JLCPCB.

Used components:

  • Main microcontroller ATTINY1616-MNR
  • 3x standard red LED in 0603 package
  • 3x standard yellow LED in 0603 package
  • 3x standard green LED in 0603 package
  • CR1620 battery holder
  • Tiny switch K3-1292S-P2
