At some point, I realized that my trousers always developed holes in the same spot—probably where my keychain sat in my pocket. To prevent this, I designed a simple key case made from an old bike tube. It protects my pockets by covering the sharp edges of my keys with soft yet durable rubber.
Beyond being practical, the key case has a sleek, leather-like look while being completely vegan. The design allows for one-handed use: simply grab the case, let the keys drop out, and when you're done, pull the string to retract them—perfect even while cycling.
Details
Life span: 3-5 years. Over time, the stitches will wear out, but the case can easily be rebuilt then.
