This coffee roaster uses two K thermocouples. One in contact with the roasting beens and a second to measure the surrounding temperature. When the bean temperature reaches a preset limit, heat is de-energized and the cool down begins. An adjustable fan in the base pushes air up through the heating element. A gear motor rotates the roasting drum.
