Have you ever dreamed of an all in one gaming setup capable of playing a variety of retro games and being easily transportable?

The WiiTV does just that, being powered by a fully functioning Wii that is able to natively play Wii and Gamecube games as well as emulate a large variety of older platforms such as Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, TurboGrafx 16, and many more.

I was originally inspired by two separate portable builds. One built by Doubles Conches, a gamecube controller modder, where he built a plywood frame to house a crt and a wii console. The second build that inspired me was made by SypherPhoenix, where he stripped a wii down and hid it inside a crt. Having no cables visible but limiting some of the wii's functionality.

After being having a CRT-VCR donated to me I realized I could create a build that takes the best of both worlds from the previous portable builds that inspired me.
