Maybe it was Halloween, or maybe it was being at Hackaday's SuperCon 2024, but my brain has been wrapped around the idea of building a spider robot. But not just a loud and clumsy hexabot with eight legs. This one will move quickly, gracefully, and hopefully, be able to jump.
I will be ditching the servo motors for faster and quieter actuators. Currently, I'm leaning towards geared BLDC motors, like the kinds used in the OpenDog project and MITs mini cheetah.
