We're thrilled to present the industrial design for our new temperature-controlled laser mount, the JASPER Picolo. This name stands for Precision Integrated Cooling for Optoelectronics and Laser Operations, and it's built to meet the rigorous demands of your work.
The Picolo is engineered for seamless integration into your existing setup. It features two M6 slots for stable mounting on an optical bench, and its optical height is fully adjustable with a variable length post mount, giving you precise control over your alignment.
To support a variety of projects, the mount is designed to accommodate multiple TO-can laser packages, including Ø3.8 mm, Ø5.6 mm, and Ø9 mm, as well as TO-46. Each package requires a specific adapter to ensure optimal thermal performance and stability.
For streamlined operation, the Picolo includes two DB9 connectors. One connector interfaces with a laser driver, and the other is for a TEC controller. While we are starting with the development of our TEC controller, we have future plans to develop a dedicated laser driver as well. This design ensures that the mount is future-proof and ready for a complete, integrated solution.
