I can't wait to see you get them and build it with the new boards. A few years ago I built a cell phone by stacking shields on an arduino, then getting a 20$ USB rechargeable battery. It worked surprisingly well, and I eventually will build a more advanced one, kinda like what you are doing. So I like to see your project move forward.
I remember putting together Arduino gsm shield + touch screen from seeduino. Those were the good times. I really wanted to build an extremely low powered potato phone with e-ink display thats solar powered (with a different board).
