The GPS disciplined oscillator is an good alternative of the rubidium and cesium frequency references . Trimble Thunderbolt is a high quality GPSDO that is widely available on ebay and other trade platforms. Many of those modules are part of other equipment and are sold as PCB or frames without own power supply. Current project offer a solution designed to fit in a standard Aluminium enclosure. As extra to the power supply i add a simple serial port monitor to show the GPSDO status in real time.
