We’ve received so much from the community, and we’re excited to give back as much as possible! We’re releasing the schematics, kernel drivers, GStreamer plugins, and libcamera integrations under the GPL-2.0 license. Thank you for being part of this journey! • 5MP GS LINUX Driver!!

    Waves Vision Ltd08/04/2025 at 13:17 0 comments

The drivers and the debayer are released!

    You can find them below:

The debayer is optimised to work with NIR version of the camera. It can boost night images with IR data and normalise daylight images removing the NIR noise.

  • V2 Hardware Testing

    Waves Vision Ltd07/14/2025 at 11:27 0 comments

We've achieved a major milestone! The first V2 hardware was successfully tested yesterday, and we're thrilled with the results!

    Next Steps:

    • Releasing Raspberry Pi drivers soon!
    • Radaxa drivers coming soon too!
    • Installation documentation

  • 5MP GS V2

    Waves Vision Ltd07/10/2025 at 08:50 0 comments

We’re currently deep into development on our V2 camera. One of the new features is a built-in voltage switch that lets you toggle between 1.8V and 3.3V logic levels—making it compatible with a wide range of platforms like Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, RADXA boards, and more.

The latest revision uses a 22-pin connector and supports 4 MIPI lanes, unlocking high frame rates and even dual-resolution output simultaneously. But the real game-changer? We’re adding dual-band filter, enabling native near-infrared (NIR) photography straight from the camera!

Stay tuned—more details (and demos) coming soon!
