Build a CubeSat is an open hardware and software initiative to design, prototype, and eventually launch a fully functional CubeSat – starting from zero engineering background. The project documents every step: from PCB design and flight software to ground systems and high-altitude balloon tests, and eventually (hopefully), to qualification and flight by 2035.

The goal: make space access more transparent and achievable for individuals and small teams. All designs are open source (CC BY-SA 4.0), and the project emphasizes modularity, low-cost manufacturing, and real-world testing.

Whether you're a student, hacker, or space-curious tinkerer, this project aims to demystify the space industry – one board, one line of code, one launch at a time.
