USB-HDMI-Capture (MS2130)
Compact USB 3.0 HDMI capture module based on MacroSilicon MS2130.
Implemented as a USB stick (direct Type-A plug) with full-size HDMI input.
Provides real-time HDMI video stream capture to PC over USB.

- Powered directly from USB 3.0 Type-A port
- Compact flash-drive style form factor
- No external adapters required
Use Case
- Capture HDMI video (e.g. camera, PC, game console) directly to PC via USB
- Works as standard UVC device (no custom drivers needed on most OS)
- Can be integrated into DIY streaming, teaching setups, or robotics vision systems
Quick Use
- Plug USB-HDMI-Capture stick into USB 3.0 port.
- Connect HDMI source to input.
- Open OBS, VLC, or any UVC-compatible software.
- Select the device and start streaming/recording.
Notes
- MS2130 requires correct firmware in external flash; preloaded in production build.
- Heat dissipation should be considered under continuous load.
- USB 3.0 required for stable high-resolution capture.
