The x8 PCIe slot is open at the end, allowing for the installation of longer cards, such as x16 GPUs, providing greater flexibility in hardware choices. The electrical connection would still be x8 though.

Only compatible with the following models: ThinkCentre M720q, M920q, M920x, and ThinkStation P330 Tiny The M.2 slot supports only PCIe NVMe drives, not SATA.

These boards are compatible with the following Levono riser FRU codes: 01AJ940, 01AJ902, 01AJ929. Basically if you are looking for any of the risers with the FRU codes mentioned above, this riser will do the same job and will allow you access to an extra 4 lane NVMe M.2 2230 or 2242 slot.
