The USB QuadPort VE.Direct is a compact USB-to-4-port UART interface designed for seamless integration within the Victron Energy ecosystem.
It enables simultaneous connection of multiple VE.Direct devices—such as solar charge controllers, battery monitors, and inverters—to a single USB port.
This makes it especially valuable in solar panel installations, where monitoring and managing energy production, storage, and consumption are critical.
By consolidating data streams from different components, the QuadPort VE.Direct simplifies system diagnostics, enhances real-time monitoring, and ensures smooth communication across the entire Victron setup.
Powered by the reliable FTDI FT4232H chipset, it supports data rates up to 12 Mb/s per port.
The device connects via USB-C and is compatible with Venus OS, Raspberry Pi, Windows, Linux, Android, and macOS.
Each port operates at 3.3V to 5V and includes power, TX, and RX LEDs with an internal switch to disable them. Housed in a durable plastic enclosure.
it’s plug-and-play on Venus OS with no drivers needed. Ideal for expanding VE.Direct connectivity in solar, off-grid, or industrial setups.
