I have recreated the Panasonic mini FM radio case motivated by a passion for preserving and experiencing retro technology firsthand. IRecreating vintage items lets you connect with the tangible craftsmanship and design intricacies of earlier eras, offering a more meaningful, hands-on experience than modern disposable devices. It’s a way to celebrate nostalgia, explore engineering at a fundamental level, and keep classic aesthetics and forms alive in today’s digital age.
The project also presented a technical challenge and learning opportunity—designing the case in OpenSCAD allowed precise control over form and functional details like the tricky grill. Using AI-optimized settings for the Creality K1 printer and ABS material enabled you to balance print quality and durability, with the front panel requiring 4 hours and the back 1.34 hours to print, demonstrating your mastery of 3D printing processes.
Overall, this creative act fuses retro and modern.I am from ASSAM ,INDIA
